These Signs shall Follow

Calvary's Greetings of grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord JESUS Christ.

It is with great joy I want to call your attention to an age long scripture that works like wonder. 

Mark 16:16-18 "...Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will be made well.”…

This is not just a mere promise, but rather an affirmation and a reality to believers from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after He ressurrected and before His ascension.
This is to reenact the power and law of BELIEVE in the minds of Believers. However,  God's power and miraculous abilities are attracted to only those who believe in His Name and have so much Confidence in His personality.

Those who exhibit an unusual trust, believe and confidence are very attractive to God than otherwise.

Hitherto,  my message for you this day is that of hope,  trust,  believe,  confidence and power. That should you dear to believe more in his supernatural powers, should you dear to believe that God can do all things, you will surely see the signs, wonders, backup and power of God Most High at work in your life, and when He backs you up He never backs out. Therefore you can do all things because you believe,  this brings Roman 8:28 to mind.

I pray for you this today that as you dear to believe in HIM who can do all things, you shall receive all things in JESUS Name, you shall see mountains leveled down right before your face to your favor by his power in the Name of Jesus.

Assets 'vs Liability; Invest Wisely

SHINA PETERS VS JIM OVIA

In 1990, Sir Shina Peters built a house with N20 million naira; the same year Jim Ovia started Zenith Bank with the same amount.

Today, you and I don't have a room in Shina's house but I have an account in Jim's bank and probably you do too.
Shina's house was built in Iju Lagos and remains there till date.
Jim's bank started in a corner and now has over 500 branches in Nigeria, and many international branches.
Millions upon millions transact business in Jim's bank daily.

Shina's house is becoming dilapidated...in 2015, he SPENT more money to renovate the house and bought a Nissan Pathfinder with N10 million...additional liability, while in the same 2015, Jim's bank MADE a profit of N105.7 billion.
Zenith bank employs hundreds of thousands, and feeds their families.
I am NOT in any way trying to disparage the personality of Sir Shina Peters. He is a great man in his own right and well respected. I only wish to demonstrate the difference between an investment and a liability, and the long term impact of a single financial decision.

If you buy a car for N20 million today, in 20 years time, you will be ashamed to drive it. On the other hand, if you invest that same amount in a lucrative business or in an asset, It may be worth billions in 20 years. ( Jim Ovia is now worth $980 million dollars, with the official dollar rate of N320, that means he is worth N313 BILLION NAIRA because of an investment of N20 million).

Spend the little money you have today wisely. Some people driving expensive cars today, are not aware that they are driving their future and the future of their children. Some people carrying iphone7 today, may not be aware that they are carrying their future.
When you are young, don't spend money. Invest it.

Our Kingdom & National Mandate

Our call is not to get the whole of Nigeria saved; our call is to use our lifestyles as a measure of influence in the society in Nigeria. If all our problems were solved today, would we still have the need to pray? Prayer infact brings more troubles. The church is sick and we are part of it. When Daniel began to pray he wasn’t the one who sinned but identified with the generation that had sinned, and took upon himself the burden to pray. This gospel will succeed ; whether you’ll be part of it or not is up  to you. The church will not fail, but believers can fail. God is not in the business of fixing things, He doesn’t repair but He makes all things new.

If you want to know what God is doing in the church, checkout how God dealt with Israel. Using Israel as a navigation tool, the global church can be said to be on exile, but the exile is winding down. We are negotiating a bend forward. Why did God send Israel into exile? It was because they forgot God and got into idolatry.

You will not change the nation if what excites you is what excites the unbelievers.  Today God is looking for the likes of Esther, Joseph, and Daniel – people who will stake their lives for the fulfillment of prophesies and the mandate of God. The purpose of the church is to provide leadership for society by producing leaders.

Whenever the church is being defeated it’s not due to the strength of the enemy but the weakness of the church. It is not so much about our response as ‘Good Samaritans’, but about asking the right questions and doing the right things in the first instance, by providing leadership. When you disobey God you strengthen the enemy, when you obey God you weaken the enemy

Don’t join your voice and say this land is not good, never again doubt, never look outside for what’s already within you. It’s a new season, it’s the time for our manifestation. Let’s amplify the voice of Joseph. Let’s give our life and submit our gifting to the generation that is to come. By the mouth of the righteous the city is blessed.

Illuminate our minds Lord, that as we go to our respective place of work, business etc. that something anew is kindled.

Do you know this God? Please pray this prayer: Father I come to you in the name of Jesus. I want to know you, not just about you. Give me knowledge of your power, your dimensions and your kingdom. I acknowledge that I’m a sinner and that Jesus died for me. I accept him today as my Lord and my Saviour, Amen!

Spiritual Realities

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesian 6:12). Whether you believe it or not everyone in this world is in this spiritual struggle, you don't need to offend anyone to be involve in this fight. You are born into this fight, into this struggle.

Important to note is the fact that,  "For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but divinely powerful toward the demolition of strongholds" (2Corinthians 10:4). We don't fight in the flesh because it is not of the flesh.
Hear what Jeremiah 17:5 says " Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from the LORD". this is not Apostle Chris OMATSOLA speaking this is God speaking to you through his word.
Now the reality is that, Many People (Believers and Unbelievers) believes erroneously that when they receive Christ they are excluded from this struggle, that's not true, when you have Christ or you are in Christ, you're not eluded, you are only empowered, certified and authorized to have dominion over every power of the devil. It does not exclude you but it exempt you from defeat if you truly and correctly engage your spiritual arsenal. Many are the afflictions of the righteous (those in Christ), BUT the Lord God delivers him from them all (Psalm 34:19). So when you are in Christ there is this assurance that resides in you that you are more than a conqueror, that greater is HE (Christ) in you than those in the world, because you believe in Christ you are so convinced that you are a Victor. Hallelujah!!. Victory is Sure for you in the Name of Jesus Christ!

2Corithians 2:14 " But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place".
It is in Christ we have our Victory, we are victorious in Christ, no wonder scriptures say I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. When you are in Christ nothing is impossible for you. You are empowered over every strongholds of this world by fully engaging in kingdom principles.
Finally Roman 8:1 drew the curtain over all our doubt's when it said that "there is therefore no condemnation to them which are In Christ". YOU are more than a conqueror!
I celebrate you and God bless you! go and prosper, go and shine with the light of Christ. You are not a weakling, you are not a failure, You are a Victor.

Appreciating Kingdom Fathers

I woke up this morning feeling so indebted in my spirit.....
Firstly to God, for the Gift of Life, Good health and the miracle of sleeping and waking up. #ThankYouJesus

Secondly, is to these men right in front of you. They have impacted, packaged, blessed, reformed, and guided my life and ministry so much so than my fingers can type in articulation.

At the moment, just to be very candid, I must say that i lack the know how as to appreciate and proportionate their inputs in my being. At this stage of my life and ministry, all I can say is that "They've done noble", like they deserve more than a Nobel Prize from me. Better than a Nobel Laurette is the fact that i know God will definitely and forever reward them for my sake.
@ #DavidOyedepo and #ChrisOyakhilome you guys are exceptional role models, so much more like perfection in nature. Love you scaattaa!!!

The Simplified Gospel

We see the juxtaposition of the Ten Commandments (written on stone) and the new code of the New Testament. The two codes (the Ten Commandments and the New Testament) have their foundation in governmentalism.
The Ten Commandments is referred to as “The Government of Death, its constitution chiseled on stone tablets.” It was also called “the Government of Condemnation.” It’s a death penalty. No one can be saved under it.
Whereas the new code is referred to as “the Government of Living Spirit” or “Government of Affirmation.” The New Testament affirms and gives life. Christ did not come to condemn the world but to save the world. The Ten Commandments is obsolete, the Bible says. Because it’s invalid no life can come from it. “We’re free of it! All of us!” Paul declares. We are free from condemnation. Thank God!

Don’t put yourself under the yoke of bondage by seeking to live according to the Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments can’t save. Only affirmation of the sacrifice of Jesus saves. Sometimes the truth is so powerful it appears simplistic. Paul says the message of the gospel is so simple it’s actually considered foolish in some quarters. “For the story and message of the cross is sheer absurdity and folly to those who are perishing and on their way to perdition. But to us who are being saved it is the manifestation of the power of God”.

Scholars, philosophers and intellectuals sometimes find it hard to accept the simplicity of the gospel. God chose to baffle the learned with the simplicity of the gospel. For it is written, “I will baffle and render useless and destroy the learning of the learned… And the philosophy of the philosophers and the cleverness of the clever and the discernment of the discerning… I will frustrate and nullify them and bring them to nothing.” The problem of unbelief is as old as the gospel itself.
The Greeks in the days of Paul considered the gospel unintellectual. The Greeks loved to philosophise and debate new fangled theories. They were famed as thinkers. To them the Gospel was an “absurd and utterly unphilosophical nonsense.” Yet a foolish thing that has its source in God is wiser than men, the Bible declares. The gospel is not esoteric or convoluted philosophy: Jesus came. Jesus died. He rose from the dead. Believe! No fasting, no candles, no incense, no chanting, no washings, no rituals, no incantations, no sacrifices.
JUST BELIEVE!

If you want salvation from the damnation of the Ten Commandments please pray this prayer:

Father I come to you as a penitent sinner. I believe Jesus died for me, that you raised him from the dead. I accept him today as my Lord and my Saviour. Amen.

This Month the finger of God cannot be denied in your life in the Name of Jesus!
